Condo Sale and Single-Family Purchase

I’ve worked with Steve as both a listing and buying agent: he sold my co-buyer’s condo and then helped us buy a house. He worked tirelessly to get the condo sold (a relatively quick process) and just as tirelessly to find us a home in Seattle’s incredibly competitive real estate market (which was neither quick nor easy). I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone looking for a real estate agent. 


As a listing agent, Steve’s assistance with the logistics (moving out, prepping the condo, staging, photography, etc.) was invaluable. He has a deep knowledge of the neighborhood’s real estate market and his suggestions around presentation and pricing led to multiple offers on the offer review date. 


As a buying agent, Steve was patient and encouraging. We looked at many, MANY houses and had made multiple unsuccessful offers before engaging Steve as our agent. I am fairly sure we would not have gotten our place without Steve. When we found a house we loved, he befriended the listing agent and learned that the seller wanted a quick sale but didn’t want to sell to a developer. He helped us craft an offer that we felt comfortable with but that was also competitive. When two other offers came in (both all cash, who ARE these people?), he talked to the listing agent and learned that we could probably get the place if we raised our offer just a bit higher. The reconnaissance, the (correct) reading of the situation, the negotiating … that’s the expertise we needed to secure the deal and the expertise that only someone at the top of their game can provide.
